Privacy Policy

This policy describes how RevDebug Inc. (“RevDebug,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our website and services. Last updated: March 22, 2025.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect identifiers you provide (such as email address) and authentication data needed to operate your account.

Stripe-connected data. If you connect Stripe, we access and store data Stripe makes available under the permissions you grant—such as charges, refunds, payment intents, customers, and related metadata—to power revenue views, filters, and sync features in the product. We use read-oriented access as described in our product; we do not initiate payments or change your Stripe configuration on your behalf through the service.

Technical and usage data. We may collect standard server logs, device or browser information, and similar diagnostics to secure the service, fix errors, and understand aggregate usage.

2. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve RevDebug;
  • Authenticate users and prevent abuse or fraud;
  • Communicate with you about the service (for example, security or account notices);
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

If you are in a region that requires a legal basis for processing (for example, the EEA or UK), we rely on bases such as: performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing our service (balanced against your rights), and consent where we ask for it explicitly.

4. Sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Stripe and other integrations you enable, as necessary for those integrations to function;
  • Service providers who host infrastructure, send email, or provide analytics or security tools, under confidentiality and processing terms;
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Stripe-sourced data may be deleted or refreshed according to product behavior and your account status; you may request deletion as described below.

6. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also disconnect Stripe from your account or close your account where the product supports it.

8. International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Children

RevDebug is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
